Elwani re-elected CAVB President until 2019
Alger, Algeria, December 4, 2015- Dr Amr Elwani was re-elected President of African Volleyball Confederation "CAVB" for the next 4 years after the elections during the 2015 Elective Congress in Alger, Algeria on Friday.
The Congress showed 100% of the affiliated National Federations attending for the first time in the history as the 53 NFs voted. Elwani have been granted 33 votes against 10 votes for Idriss Dokony from Chad and 8 for David Kabre from Burkina Faso with 2 invalid votes.
Elwani presided CAVB since 2001 and now he will continue till 2019.
Elwani thanked all the delegates for choosing him to continue another mandate and promised to continue the development of African Volleyball in future with more credibility and transparency.
